Kids and Paganism

The Pagan path is not just for adults! Here are some fun links for Pagan tykes. Remember to email us with new listings and broken links.

Children in Paganism

Pagan Homeschooling http://www.gomilpitas.com/homeschooling/religion/pagan.htm

This is an excellent annotated collection of resources for anyone interested in homeschooling for Pagan children (focused primarily on US & Canada home-schooling options).

Goddess Moon Circles http://www.goddessmoon.org/coloring/more_coloring_books.htm

Free downloadable Pagan-oriented coloring & activity books for kids.

Sprites Pagan Kids http://www.sacredtriskele.net/sprites/

This site is more game/puzzle oriented, but it has some other nice features as well. The Kids Book of Shadows is quite nice, with crafts & meditations aimed at approximately an 8-year-old audience. They also link to Pagan Parents and Pagan Kids email lists & online newsletters.

Pagan Kids Grove http://www.spiralgoddess.com/Kids.html

This site is almost entirely pictures, but there are many nice animated GIF's. The Special Place is particularly fun, as it allows you to use your mouse to drag & drop icons onto a virtual altar. Some of the icons are animated, so you can have flickering candles, fairies with fluttering wings, and tiny critters racing across your altar. You can't save your "work," but you can print it out if you have a color printer. You can save the page so that kids can play with it offline without waiting for all of the images to download again.
