General Divination Pages |
Façade http://www.facade.comThis is an online store that also offers free automated divinations: Tarot, runes, I Ching, Biorhythm and more. Here is a “conversation” that I had with the Yes/No divination pen. (This was between me and a randomly-generated answer program!) Ancient Astrology and Divination on the Web

Tarot Links |
Aeclectic Tarot http://www.aeclectic.net/tarotAn online dedication to the diversity and beauty of Tarot. The site has explanations & meanings for several decks, some historical information, book & software reviews, and several Discussion Forum (Message Boards) on various Tarot-related topics. American Tarot Association http://www.ata-tarot.comThe American Tarot Association is organized for the purpose of bringing together qualified students, teachers, and masters of the Tarot, who are willing to subscribe to a high ethical standard, and use the Tarot for the benefit of those for whom they read. We recognize Tarot as a useful tool for personal growth and spiritual development. Although membership is limited to Americans, they have some good articles on professional Tarot reading. Tarot Passages http://www.tarotpassages.comThis site contains reviews of many different Tarot decks, articles for beginners through professionals, sample readings, Tarot conferences, and much more. Wicce Tarot http://www.wicce.comWicce has a number of articles for beginners and non-beginners as well as reviews of the best, and worst, Tarot decks she has seen. Runes |
Runes Alphabet of Mystery http://sunnyway.com/runes/This is a nice personal page with interesting articles such as “The Blank Rune Controversy” and “North American Rune Stones (Are they real or frauds?).” The author also maintains an extensive page of Rune Links. No need to duplicate his list here, but it is worth the visit to the Links page, as some sites offer free online automated rune readings, and still others have rune software downloads. Read the Download links carefully as to whether they are freeware, shareware or commercial. Runes of the Elder Futhark http://equinox.faithweb.com/runesThis site provides complete pictures of each of the standard runes, with some basic interpretations of each. Other than that, it is not a particularly in-depth discussion of runes. |
Astrology |
Interactive Stars http://www.interactivestars.comInteractive Stars provides some simple horoscope information, such as descriptions of your sun (zodiac) sign and ruling planet, as well as a daily horoscope. Their “ancient Babylonian sign beyond the zodiac” section is also very good. You can download free screensavers and link to the AstroWorld astrology charting software. The Personal Reports section looks interesting, but you have to pay for them. AstroWorld, Inc. http://www.astroworld.net/eng/In addition to a free natal chart & daily “transit” and “biorhythm” reading, this site allows you to download a free/demo version of AstroWorld. The demo version of this program does a lot of the basic calculations, but interpretations are mostly up to the user. You should know some astrology in order to use it effectively, and the demo license does not allow you to use any of the charts for commercial purposes. You can also buy the full-featured AstroWorld product for your choice of platforms, which provides more interpretations (if you want them), very customizable charts, and the ability to use the charts for commercial purposes. Read through the Help Text in the demo version to give you more ideas about aspects of astrology that you might like to know more about, such as the “house” system used in some transit and natal charts, or “harmonics” used in a Hindu astrological system. Astrology.Com http://www.astrology.comThis site is highly commercialized and not particularly spiritually-oriented. Frankly, it looks more like a supermarket magazine, but like supermarket magazines, it’s easy to get sucked into paging through the mini-quizzes, finding out more about your “soul mate” and so on. Astrology Online http://www.astrology-online.comThis site has some interactive features (such as an instant Compatibility reading for two zodiac signs). But for a site that bills itself as containing “Absolutely everything about Astrology,” I would expect instructions on more in-depth astrological readings. |
Palmistry |
Institute of Palmistry http://www.instituteofpalmistry.com/Purchase a hand reading through the Internet or sign-up for a correspondence course to learn palmistry. Emphasizes the scientific aspect of hand reading. Palmistry.Org http://www.palmistry.orgPalmistry.org contains a history of palmistry and some peripheral information. It also has an address and fee list to request palmistry readings by mail. |
I Ching |
Taoism: I Ching or Yi Jing http://www.clas.ufl.edu/users/gthursby/taoism/iching.htmThis is a fine collection of links including an HTML version of Wilhelm’s translation of The I Ching. Also contains further links, Chinese texts, related articles, and software. I Ching: What is it?
