This compilation is not an exhaustive list of all that is available on the Net, by any means! There are many more relevant topics, but we tried to come up with the ones that we thought would be the most useful and interesting overall. Hopefully the sites you see here will give you some ideas of things you may want to learn more about so that you can expand your search on the Net, through books, and so on.
This is an annotated list of sites, which means that we went to each one individually to at least get a general idea of what it contains, and if it is any good. Usually if it wasn't all that great, we didn't include it in the list. In a few cases, we clarify that the overall site isn't that great, but that a couple of the features on it are ok. If we did NOT list a site, that doesn't necessarily mean we didn't think it was good -- we might not have found it, or the link was broken when we tried to access it. Also, in some cases, there were so many good sites on a topic that we just had to pare it down to a few of the best.
Just about every site on the Net has a list of links to other similar sites. We did not go through every list of links, but if we saw a particular site being mentioned on many other sites, we would visit it to see if it was worth including in our Resource Guide. (Usually, it was.) In some cases, one site in particular seemed to maintain a very comprehensive list or web-ring of topic-related sites. In that case, we did not review as many individual sites but instead refer you to the existing guide. They will be more likely to keep their list up-to-date, and there's no point in duplicating their efforts.
We will try to keep this site going for as long as possible, and we quite happily respond to feedback on how we could improve it, add new links, remove broken ones, etc. Just send us an email with your requests/suggestions. Our web pages dynamically record the date they were last modified, so if you see a page with several broken links and a "Last Modified Date" on the old(ish) side, do please remind us to review it.
Bright blessings and happy surfing!
